GEF SGP Grants Call for Proposals

The GEF SGP Bahamas invite all interested local Civil Society Organisations (CSOs) to submit Project Concepts to be considered for GEF SGP Grants 2012 to the local offices of the GEF SGP by 30th March 2012. GEF SGP Knowledge Management

The GEF SGP Bahamas invites local Civil Society Organisations (CSOs) to submit proposals to facilitate a Knowledge Management Workshop for local NGOs, CBOs, and Academia to be held in May 2012.

All interested CSO should contact the local GEF SGP National Coordinator and kindly review the Terms of Refernce (TOR) by clicking on the link below for futher guidance. Deadline for submissions is Friday 16th March 2012.

Guidance to CSOs Submitting Project Concepts for Grants

Eligible local CSOs are recommended to take the following into account when submitting project concepts for grant application to the GEF SGP.

  1. Contact the National Coordinator for complete guidance material.
  2. Review the Bahamas Country Programme Strategy for current operational phase OP5.
  3. Complete and Submit a Project Concept Form taking into consideration application deadlines
  4. Approved concepts of eligible CSOs are invited to develop a full project proposal
  5. All proposals are reviewed by the National Steering Committee (NSC) at its biannual meetings
  6. NSC approved grants are notified by GEF SGP and invited to begin process to initiate project & receive grant
